In advance of the national launch of Shaw Communications’ (Shaw) BlueSky TV – the first premium voice-controlled TV technology in Canada – Brookline aligned with Shaw’s cross-country marketing campaign by developing a blogger trial program to introduce the technology to influencers and build buzz in target markets.

A wide variety of bloggers were targeted to be included in the trial, including family, lifestyle, fashion and entertainment, to cast a wide net onto a diverse audience readership. These influencers were provided with a BlueSky TV package before the official launch, offering them an exclusive experience with the ground-breaking technology. In exchange, they shared their experience of BlueSky TV on their social channels and more in-depth reviews on their blogs on the day of launch.

The bloggers’ social and blog content enabled their followers to see what BlueSky TV is capable of from a trusted source.
