Brookline adds to sports and real estate client roster, promotes Leanna Kruk and hires Tammy Mandelbaum

CALGARY (July 13, 2016) – Brookline Public Relations (Brookline) is proud to announce a number of new client wins, hires and promotions and is continuing to prove why they are one of Canada’s top boutique PR agencies. Recently, Brookline has signed on three new communications mandates from a variety of sectors including Mattamy Homes, Comrie’s Sports Equipment Bank, and OSTEN & VICTOR Alberta Tennis Centre.

Brookline has also promoted Leanna Kruk to Account Supervisor and hired Tammy Mandelbaum as Public Relations Assistant as part of Brookline’s expanding mandate. Kruk has been with Brookline for more than two years and is the strategic lead on a number of the agency’s key accounts. Mandelbaum brings a number of years of agency experience to the team and her particular love for sports communications is a great fit for Brookline’s client roster.

“The current economy has given us the opportunity to look at new markets and new industries, and it is because of this strategic foresight we have been able to expand our geographical reach,” explains Shauna MacDonald, Principal and Founder, Brookline. “Because of our great client roster, we are able to bring on and retain top talent to help support our growing business and ensure our clients are getting the best communications services possible.”

Brookline recently opened the much-anticipated Alberta Tennis Centre in Calgary as well supported Comrie’s Sports Equipment Bank with its mission of providing no-cost sports equipment to qualified Southern Alberta children. No stranger to the sports industry, Brookline has worked with various sporting organizations over the past decade including the Edmonton Oilers, Arizona Coyotes, Calgary Flames, Okanagan Hockey Group, Gordie Howe C.A.R.E.S Pro-Am Hockey Tournament, Hockey Canada and the World Junior National Hockey Championships.

“Brookline has proven time and time again that regardless of the task, they take it head-on and with complete professionalism,” says former NHL-alumni, Al Coates, current chair of the board for Comrie’s Sports Equipment Bank. “Whenever I need PR support for any of my current endeavours, Brookline is always my first call.”

North America’s largest privately owned homebuilder, Mattamy Homes, has also partnered with Brookline to provide project-based support in the service areas of media relations, event management and social media strategy.

“We are so excited, but also so honoured for all the fantastic opportunities that have come our way these past few months, particularly within a volatile economy,” adds MacDonald. “We look forward to continuing to prove that regardless of location, Brookline can provide top-tier communications support for any client in any location.”
