This spring, Brookline was thrilled to support ATCO Energy as they unveiled an exciting new chapter for their brand. Alongside a refreshed look and feel, ATCO Energy introduced more than 60 new home services for Albertans – ranging from heating and cooling to electrical, plumbing, smart home solutions and more.
Brookline provided full communications support for this milestone moment. Our team managed event planning and onsite execution for a high-profile press conference, alongside an employee activation at the media event and public activations at Cavalry FC and Calgary Roughnecks games. The interactive activations helped ATCO Energy connect directly with Albertans in a meaningful way by offering an opportunity for guests to create their very own custom trading card with a photo booth at each sporting event.
To broaden the campaign’s reach, Brookline also coordinated ad buys with CTV and Global News in both Calgary and Edmonton. Between a variety of live and pre-filmed interviews airing in each market, our team ensured that ATCO Energy’s key spokespeople were given the chance to share these exciting changes with customers across the province.
We also led an exciting influencer relations campaign, working with local content creators to amplify the excitement behind the new brand look and promote ATCO Energy’s expanded service offerings to their engaged audiences. While some influencers received home services to experience the new brand offerings first-hand, others were given the opportunity to attend ATCO Energy’s activations at the Cavalry FC and Calgary Roughneck games as VIPs.
On the media side, Brookline handled media relations from start to finish. We provided media training for ATCO Energy’s key spokespeople, drafted key press materials including key messages, a media advisory, press release and more, and conducted targeted outreach to our media contacts across the province.
Brookline was proud to help bring ATCO Energy’s refreshed brand to life, using a dynamic mix of event management, media relations, advertising and influencer engagement. It was truly a privilege to help spark a new beginning for one of Alberta’s most trusted names in energy.
