Brookline continues to prove its position as one of the most successful boutique

PR agencies in Canada

CALGARY (October 10, 2017) –Brookline Public Relations (Brookline) is pleased to announce the addition of several new members to its team. Amanda Kemsley, account specialist, Dominica Nemec, assistant account specialist and Ashley Tymko, account specialist are the most recent public relations practitioners to join the award-winning agency.

These hires come after a number of new national client wins for Brookline including Feld Entertainment – the producers of Monster Jam and Disney on Ice, the Canadian Global Affairs Institute (CGAI), the Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre (SKCAC) and new projects with Fairway Divorce Solutions, continuing to demonstrate how Brookline’s bold mentality continues to pay off as the agency announces a strong third quarter of national client wins and agency achievements.

Kemsley brings a wealth of agency experience, extensive knowledge of social media strategy, and bounds of creativity and energy to the team. After graduating from Mount Royal University’s Bachelor of Communication program in 2014, she went on to work at Innovate Calgary, the Cerebral Palsy Association and a Canadian PR agency. Her familiarity with retail and consumer marketing and the non-profit sector, along with relationships with key media contacts in the province are a welcomed asset.

Nemec recently obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Public Relations with distinction from the London College of Communication. She brings experience in fashion and consumer marketing, as well as sports communications and social media strategy to Brookline’s stellar team. Her ingenuity and strong writing skills will help enhance Brookline’s reputation as one of Canada’s leading boutique PR agencies.

Tymko comes from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business where she worked as the communications lead on key events for the institution. She brings strong public sector and non-profit experience to Brookline. Her creative and strategic social media skills will enhance Brookline’s reputation in the digital sphere.

“Amanda, Dominica and Ashley are the perfect additions to our team,” says Shauna MacDonald, Principal and Founder, Brookline. “We are thrilled that our agency is growing in line with our strategic business model and continues to celebrate successes year after year.”

Brookline’s team also continues to prove its professional expertise as Lisa Libin, Vice President, and Leanna Kruk, Account Director, have been named to PR in Canada’s Top 40 Under 40. The agency is well-positioned to finish up 2017 on a high note.

The new team members are already hard at work on some of the new clients under the Brookline umbrella. Brookline is currently working with the internationally renowned SKCAC on executive communications, introducing the organization’s new CEO Sara L. Austin to the helm through a strategic thought leadership, social and media campaign.

Brookline has also been working in the monster truck pits and on the ice rinks with Mickey and Minnie Mouse managing media relations for Feld Entertainment’s Monster Jam and Disney on Ice over the coming months.

CGAI recently expanded by appointing prominent Canadian thought-leaders, such as Rona Ambrose, to its Advisory Council and Brookline has been instrumental in securing media coverage on the Institute’s growth. Brookline continues to partner with the national think tank on upcoming events and speaking opportunities.

“We are pleased to continue to bring in clients from across every sector – from family entertainment to global affairs,” says MacDonald. “It’s the amazing variety of Brookline’s clients that attracts the best and the brightest PR talent and ensures the work we deliver is unsurpassed.”
