Calgary – Feb. 12, 2015 – Award-winning PR agency, Brookline Public Relations (Brookline) is pleased to announce it has been selected as Edo Japan’s (Edo) agency of record for the fifith consecutive year.
Edo Japan, an Alberta-based company known for its fresh and healthy Teppan-Style cooking, enjoyed another year of success in its 2014 public engagement and media relations endeavors. The year brought along many exciting projects, including the launch of Edo’s first entirely online public engagement campaign, #SimplyBetter Moments. The campaign encouraged followers to share their “Simply Better” moments on a dedicated microsite platform for the chance to have them brought to life by Edo. As part of another successful 2014 campaign, Edo invited Calgary food media to compete against one another in the ultimate sushi showdown. The lucky winner walked away with free Edo for one year and social media was buzzing with excitement leading up to and following the event.
Most notably, Edo rounded out the year with their annual holiday giving campaign, in partnership with local food banks across Canada. For the fifth year running, Edo was pleased to offer a generous donation to local food banks in each of the markets they do business in, exceeding their $50,000 benchmark goal for 2014 with a final donation amount of more than $76,000. A number of key media, including outlets from Regina, Winnipeg, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Calgary and Edmonton, supported the cause with coverage of Edo’s 2014 community giving initiative.
