Alberta Central, the central banking facility, service bureau, and trade association for Alberta’s credit unions, approached Brookline because they wanted to increase awareness of credit unions throughout Alberta. Brookline developed a robust communications plan to bring awareness to the financial benefits of credit unions and the role that Alberta Central plays in the sector, executing several tactics such as business takeovers, proactive media relations, and creative campaign development.
Brookline managed partnerships between Alberta Central and high-traffic coffee shops in Calgary and Edmonton. The business takeover activations attracted media and influencers and provided a unique opportunity for Alberta Central’s CEO to personally interact with target audiences.
