The Town of Banff (the Town) tapped Brookline PR to help communicate the benefits of Visitor Pay Parking (VPP) program and how it supports the residents and visitors. Our team provided strategic messaging, design, media relations and content support across multiple platforms.
Brookline worked closely with the Town to develop clear, audience-specific messaging for parking lot signage and a community information poster. Parking lot signage was designed to speak directly to visitors, while the poster focused on informing Banff residents about how VPP revenue benefits the community.

Visitor Pay Parking revenue can only be used for specific purposes, it helps fund initiatives that keep the town safe, mobile and well maintained, including:
- Wildfire Reduction and Climate Resiliency
- Snow Clearing and Winter Safety
- Roadway and Parking Improvements
- Cycling and Active Transportation
- Public Transit Improvements
In addition, the Brookline team created website content, social media posts and newsletter copy for Banff This Week. This included updates to existing webpages outlining how VPP supports specific programs, as well as a new dedicated page detailing the full range of initiatives funded through Visitor Pay Parking.
Brookline was proud to support the Town of Banff in clearly communicating the value of Visitor Pay Parking and the role it plays in sustaining critical services for residents and visitors alike.
