As many of you might already be aware, Brookline is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary – BOO YAH! Two decades of bold ideas, big moments and the best team in the biz. To celebrate this momentous achievement, Brookline is excited to announce the inaugural Brookline PR Bright Futures Bursary through Mount Royal University (MRU).
The decision to create the Brookline PR Bright Futures Bursary was an easy one for me, giving back to the community has always been at the heart of Brookline. Being a full-time student doesn’t look the same for everyone and many students I’ve talked to or worked with have had to manage school and part-time jobs to make ends meet. Brookline wanted to create this bursary to help post-secondary students focus on school without the added financial stress.
Teaming up with MRU made sense, given Brookline’s long-standing relationship with the university. Its Public Relations program is stellar, thanks to its roster of professors and the work-term program that creates graduates that are career ready. Over the years, Brookline has been thrilled to hire both graduates and students from the program. Creating this bursary will help introduce the next superstar practitioner into our public relations community. I am so grateful for the people that took the time to invest in me, and now I want to take the time to invest in others. I hope the bursary provides the recipient the support they need for their future goals. Here’s to the next generation of PR students. Brookline is thrilled to be a part of your journey!
