Calgary has been a hot spot for big events and conversations this summer and our Brookline team was excited to add to the momentum by supporting Enserva’s Speaker Series. The series hosted a conversation with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe and Enserva’s CEO Gurpreet Lail on energy security in North America.

The Brookline team was proud to provide our media relations expertise for the event. We developed a comprehensive media strategy and coordinated several pre-interviews. Despite the 2025 G7 Summit in full swing and many media in Kananaskis – we were able to successfully secure strong coverage and attendance from both print, radio and trade journalists. During the event our team was on site assisting with media check-in, guiding the media and facilitating the post-discussion scrum.
The event took place at the TELUS Convention Centre, where a lunchtime panel brought together some of Alberta’s top energy professionals, provincial ministers and industry leaders. It featured two keynote speeches – one from Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and the other from Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe. The keynotes were followed by a dynamic fireside chat between the two premiers that was moderated by Enserva CEO, Gurpreet Lail.

The fireside chat offered valuable insights and a look into Western Canada’s strategy to expand LNG development, unlock critical infrastructure and how Alberta and Saskatchewan plan to position the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin for long-term growth. With over 15 journalists in attendance and close to 20 original media stories published, we received national coverage and helped amplify energy industry discussions. Brookline is proud to support these important conversations that shape our countries energy landscape – after all, big energy conversations deserve a big spotlight!
