In 2018, Brookline was hired by Tourism Calgary to drive awareness for an industry-run Calgary Olympic and Paralympic Games bid campaign.

Given how divided much of the city was around this topic, and working with only a few weeks to launch, Brookline quickly came up with attention-grabbing tactics, not only to directly reach the targeted audience, but to also drive the community of Calgary to vote YES on hosting the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games during the fall plebiscite. Brookline developed a multi-faceted public relations and social marketing campaign with tactics including taglines (“Ultimate Host 2026” and “We Are Made For This”) and developed a website to push these messages forward.

To drive external awareness for this campaign, Brookline executed a comprehensive media relations campaign, showcasing the video on mainstream media outlets and driving audiences to the website.
