Friday, March 20th, 2009

For three fun-filled days in March, the University of Calgary was home to the Calgary Stampede Foundation’s Young Canadians (YCs).  The YC Spring Show, “Heartbeat” ran March 20 – 22 and Brookline had the pleasure of managing  media relations for the event.  Show highlights included a variety of high-energy lyrical pieces and dance numbers from hip-hop to ballet and jazz. In addition to a heart-stopping production, the Young Canadians paid tribute to the outgoing President and Chairman of the Calgary Stampede, George Brookman.

The Young Canadians Spring Show is an annual event with proceeds used to help aspiring Calgarians study voice, musical theatre, gymnastics and dance at the Young Canadians School of Performing Arts.
